We can provide the following services:
Personal Care for the Elderly.
We provide accommodation and 24 hour social and personal care including meals, help with washing and dressing, activities and any other assistance required to support daily living. Our home is staffed with professional registered nurses and experienced care assistants 24 hours a day.
Nursing & Physical Care for the Elderly.
In addition to providing accommodation and 24 hour social and personal care, our home provides nursing care which includes any care needs requiring the input of a registered nurse. Our home always has registered nurses on duty 24 hours a day. Read more about Nursing & Physical Care for the Elderly…
Dementia Care for the Elderly.
Our home also provides specialist dementia care. Even though we are not registered as EMI nursing home we are able to apply, and have done, for a variation in our order of registration. Any applications would be subject to approval by our CSSIW inspector’s discretion. We adopt a person centred approach to care, treating each person as an individual and encouraging as much independence as possible. Read More about Dementia Care for the Elderly…

Resident Care Plans & Daily Reports
Each resident has their own individual plan of care.
Computerised care plans are compiled for all the residents in the home, with input from the resident and relatives whenever possible. These cover all aspects of daily living and include risk assessments of areas where the residents may be vulnerable.
Care staff enter daily Progress Notes onto the computer system giving details of each resident’s care and activities. A daily report systematically evaluates actual care provided against all the elements of the resident’s care plan.
A monthly review of all care plans is undertaken by the Manager in conjunction with the resident and key members of staff and any amendments or changes are recorded. During the month changes in the care plan can be effected at any time.
