The team have long-standing experience in healthcare, especially in providing elderly care, as well as management. The person designated as the Responsible Individual is Andrea Bacova, who is also the Home Manager. Andrea has over 15 years’ experience in working in care homes and is the person in day-to-day control of running of the Home.
I have completed NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. In addition, I have worked for many years with younger adults with Learning Disabilities who had other varied conditions from Mental Health, Autism, Dementia and other conditions which represented itself in challenging behaviours and communication difficulties.
I have over 16 years of experience working in the Health Industry, including working for the NHS in a hospital, working with children and the elderly, and with learning disabilities. I am very passionate about working with people and have dedicated my life to helping others. I hold an NVQ Level 4 and I am currently working towards my QCF Level 5 in management. I find my job to be very rewarding and it gives me the opportunity to progress in my career.
I have over 20 years of experience of working in Human resources. I have worked at Glais House for the past 6 years. I find the home to be exceptional in its care, as I had my own Mother here as a resident for a while. It has a very warm and cosy atmosphere with attentive and caring staff to look after the residents.

I have been at Glais House for 18 years and enjoy doing the activities with the residents. It’s a lovely homely atmosphere and we have the ability to really connect with the residents. The home and the gardens are kept in an immaculate condition.
